The creator of kids cinema puppets, complaining about some behaviors towards kids and young adults’ cinema experts said, “We can still produce the best things for kids and young adults. Our generation is limitless.”
The 33rd ICFF PUBLIC Relations Office, reports, Adel Bezdoodeh, writer and the director in puppet theater and puppets creator in cinema said, “We went through a lot to make puppets like Kopol, Makhmal, Pesarkhaleh, etc. in collaborations with groups.”
Pointing out that anyone who has ever been part of puppetry is of value to him and a part of his family, he said, “Many memorable puppets have been made in cinema for kids, and they will not be forgotten so easily.”
He pointed that, “We can still produce things with the best quality, using the least amount of money. If we can’t work in the cinema, television, and the theater, we will start teaching at universities and we would train a great generation for this profession.”
In another part of this interview, on holding the 33rd ICFF, he said, “Due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus, new approaches must be considered. To hold this festival online, the old ones are no longer applicable. At this specific time, we need a new level of operation, and a new and thoughtful version of this festival can be defined.”
Bezdoodeh said, “Holding this festival online, is considered a brand-new event and it is an opportunity for kids from all over the country, to use this given chance and to get acquainted with the latest cultural processes found in the cinema for children. It’s an experience and it’s necessary to move forward, alongside the rest of the world.”
Due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus and based on the multimedia agreement made by the Iranian Cinema Organization, Farabi Cinematic Foundation, and Isfahan Municipality, this edition of the festival will be held virtually from October 18 to 23, 2020 under the supervision of Alireza Tabesh.
