An acclaimed Iranian screenwriter, producer, and director of children’s cinema stressed the importance of holding the International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults.
Vahid Nikkhah Azad underscored that the festival will influence the fate of children and adolescent cinema by providing outstanding international films and providing a platform for dialogue between cultural activists and executives in order to try to identify problems and find appropriate solutions.
The award-winning Iranian screenwriter added that such festivals are a proper venue for attracting the attention of filmmakers, cinema officials and provide a basis for the growth and prosperity of children’s cinema.
The 34th International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults will be held from October 8 to 13, 2021.
