Over 2,000 children keen on judging IFFCY

Some 2,220 children and young adults have voiced their willingness to judge the 34th International Film Festival for Children and Youth  (IFFCY) from 22 Iranian cities.

The children and young adults jury members can judge the films in cinema halls of the festival’s host cities by observing social distance due to the spread of coronavirus.

Like the previous editions, the top films, selected by the children and young adults jury members will be announced in the closing ceremony of the 34th International Film Festival for Children and Youth which will be held from October 8 to 13, 2021, in collaboration with the Iranian Cinema Organization, Farabi Cinematic Foundation, and Isfahan Municipality.

Directed by Alireza Tabesh, the festival’s movies will be screened in two cities, Tehran and Isfahan, both in an online format and in theatres in compliance with the Coronavirus health protocols.
