The closing ceremony of short films, animation and Gaza sections of the 36th International Film Festival for Children and Youth took place.
According to the information and media relations of the 36th International Festival of Children and Youth, Majid Zeinalabedin, the director of the 36th International Film Festival for Children and Youth, said: “This festival has no guest, all those who participated in the festival, submitted the works, who are present in the competition section, accepted the judges and formed the festival headquarters, all are hosts. You are valuable hosts for supporting and promoting children’s and youth cinema.
Majid Zeinalabedin stated: This year, at the 36th International Film Festival for Children and Youth, we laid the groundwork to add new ideas to past experiences, and one of those ideas was paying more attention to short films. In the past, short films have sometimes been neglected in the shadow of feature films, that’s why we decided to make short films more prominent in this festival in order to give more identity and determination to short films. Children’s and Youth cinema in all sectors has no way but to pay more attention to short children’s filmmakers. I am happy that this path was started in a new way tonight.
